Authorized Dealer Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to individuals or entities who have been formally recognized and approved as Authorized Dealers of Forshaw of St. Louis. These provisions govern the relationship between Forshaw of St. Louis and its Authorized Dealers and shall be binding upon acceptance of authorized dealer status.
Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice and all items will be invoiced at prices in effect at time of shipment.
Terms of Sale
All new accounts will be Prepaid. Credit terms are NET 30 days. Credit may be obtained upon approval of your completed credit application.
Freight Policy
FOB St. Louis, MO. Customers are responsible for freight charges. All orders will be shipped LTL via “prepaid and bill” unless qualifying for freight promotion. Orders can qualify for FREE FREIGHT; contact us to learn more about our freight programs. We will select the most economical service unless otherwise specified by our customers. Shipping schedules are estimates only, under no circumstance shall we be responsible for any inability or delay in meeting shipping schedules or for any loss or damage (whether direct or consequential) resulting therefrom.
Freight Claims
Merchandise should be inspected immediately for damage or shortages. If you receive something that has been damaged in transit, Forshaw must be notified within 48 hours & you must file a freight claim directly with the freight carrier.
Cancellation and Returns
No returns will be accepted without authorization issued by Forshaw. Special orders & Non-Stock Items cannot be returned. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge. All returns must be processed within 90 days of invoice date. Customer is responsible for return freight. Goods authorized for return must be NEW, in their original packaging, and be in resalable condition.
Warranties
The warranty coverage for each item is the warranty coverage that the manufacturer of that item offers. Forshaw does not offer any implied or explicit warranty above the manufactured warranty. To file a warranty claim, you can go to our Warranty Claim Form, call us at 800-367-7429, or email warranty@forshaws.com. Warranty claims require photos and a description of the problem or defective part. After we receive a confirmation from the vendor, we will advise if the warranty repair or replacement will be done with parts we stock or if we need to order parts, as well as lead time for completion of the claim.
Collections and Past-Due Accounts
If an account is delinquent with respect to payment, we will add our collection fees to the due balance. If we must pursue legal action to collect a past-due balance, we reserve the right to recover all attorney’s fees associated with that collection. Past due accounts will be subject to a 1 1/2% per month service charge on all past-due amounts. (18% Annual).
